All items in this catalog will be fully checked before you pay for them. If I find that they do not meet the description adequately (eg. incomplete) then I will contact you - essentially I don’t check my stock for completeness when I buy it, but do check it before I will complete a sale.
Many items are not in English as their original language, but unless I state otherwise I will always provide English rules to all games. In some cases there may still be other components with non-English language on them (eg. cards, summary sheets etc). By default I don’t provide English replacements for these, but occasionally do in which case this is mentioned explicitly.
Parcels are despatched as follows:
Up to 1kg: 2nd class post if small enough, or Hermes
Over 1kg but less than 10kg: Hermes (although I can send by Royal Mail if you prefer, but this is a lot more expensive)
Over 10kg: Yodel or another provider who deals with heavy parcels.
Up to 2kg: International small packet (airmail or surface - your choice);
Over 2kg: I will offer options with various couriers.
If you want your items sent some other way please say. Postage and packing is charged at cost and is paid for by the purchaser. However in order to reduce postage charges I am happy to store your purchases until you have enough to make sending a larger parcel worthwhile, or to split items up to keep under 2kg (splitting batches is only sensible for overseas customers, but this can often save quite a bit on postage strangely enough). All items stored in this way must be paid for when storage is requested, and postage paid for when you request them to be posted.
I offer the following insurance options:
1) No insurance – if goods arrive damaged and it is the postal company’s fault then the risk is yours, but of course you can make a claim against the postal company. In practice the risk is small. I have sent about 600 parcels over the last 2 years and less than 5 parcels have arrived damaged.
2) Insurance. I will add 1% to your total invoice amount, and then if the parcel arrives damaged, I will either give you a partial refund which we mutually agree upon if you decide the games are still worth keeping, or if you return the damaged goods to me: a full refund of your invoice (less the 1% insurance premium) and refund of your postage costs to return them to me. If you choose this option and you do receive damaged goods please get in touch before returning the goods as in some cases the cost of return postage may be more than I want to pay to get the damaged goods back! This is the default option.
Cheques should be made payable to MNG-AJM, and must be drawn on a UK bank. Essentially if you aren't in the UK then a cheque isn't going to work, as the bank charges are about £15 per cheque cleared! The alternatives are to pay by International Money Order, credit card or UK debit card. Note however that I have to charge an extra 2% for credit card purchases as the bank charges me about 5%. For UK debit cards I have to charge you £0.50 to help cover costs. International Money Orders cost me £4 to pay in, so I have to add this to the invoice if you choose this route.
Card payments are made using my Make Payment webpage to make a secure payment using WorldPay (a leading secure internet payment provider) This way you don’t have to give me your card details at all, and you initiate the payment, and enter your card details. I never get to see them. Please don’t use the Make Payment webpage without me directing you to.
I can also accept online BACS transfers – please ask me for my bank details if you want to pay in this way. There is no charge for this method of payment, but it takes two working days for any such payment to register on my account, so please be aware of this delay before I will send your parcel.
I do not accept PayPal payments – sorry. I find their terms and conditions on sellers to be unacceptable.
Any item can be returned within 7 days for a full refund if not found to be satisfactory, provided it is in the same condition as it was when it went out. Postage will only be refunded in cases where I messed up.
This booklet changes monthly and prices apply only to the current month. I buy interesting games collections - please contact me if you wish to sell (and please give: title, publisher, year, and condition for each item).
I also offer a games wanted service – you give me a list of items you are looking for (title, publisher, and year if possible) and if I get hold of any of them I will offer them to you before they go in a catalog – but you are under no obligation to buy.
Subscriptions by email are free of charge. If you wish to receive a paper copy then I have to charge to cover printing and postage. Cost for 1 year's paper subscription: UK £13, Europe £17, Rest of world £23.
